A podcast episode of Natalie Haynes Stands up for the Classics inspired my first two ‘mus’ pictures – Rusticus Mus and Urbanus Mus. I was so tickled by Natalie explaining that in Latin the Country Mouse and Town Mouse were Rusticus Mus and Urbanus Mus. It was too cute not to draw!! This is a collection that will be added to!
